THE 20TH ANNUAL CITYWIDE GRAPHIC
ARTS COMPETITION IS LIVE.
New York City public school students enrolled in media technology,
design, graphics and visual arts programs are ellgible to enter this
wholly remote competition.
In place of the live
hands-on event usually held at CUNY's CityTech, this year
students will submit their work over the Internet in a two-round
process.
ROUND ONE began April
12 with the posting here of Creative Briefs and themes for five
Competition categories. Click on a category to get the Creative Brief

In Round One, students create drafts of work responding to the
Creative Briefs plus any relevant samples to support their concepts.
Twenty
Finalists per category will recieve feedback from the Judges
and go on to the next round to submit their finalized work by May 28.
In ROUND TWO, the Judges
will award First, Second and Third Place
cash prizes for each category, and the Final Results will be posted
here on June 7..
Teachers may submit up to 25 entries per school. Each student may
enter one item per category.
