SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
In the annual Citywide Graphic Arts Competition, media and graphics students from public high schools all over New York City come together in Brooklyn to test their skills, experience a college lab environment, network with other graphics kids, and show off what they've learned.
Since 2001, the Competition has becomes an important step in the education of the next generation of media industry professionals, and we need your help to make it a success:
We need your time and your
talents as
>> a volunteer judge,
>> an on-site coordinator, or
>> a Teachers' Workshop panelist.
We need
>> supplies for the equipment,
>> premiums for the winners, and
>> handouts for the take-home bags given to students and
teachers.
Plus we need your cash to pay for the prizes, trophies, coffee service, donuts and lunch.
The Competition is an all-volunteer effort of the Media Technology & Design Industry Advisory Commission, the faculty and staff of CityTech, industry friends, and committed teachers and administrators from the Department of Education's Career & Technical Education team. Please help us with a donation earmarked for the Competition Fund through the Institute for Career & Technical Education by clicking on the box at left.
More importantly, contact us to discuss ways that you or your organization can help.
