About CTE- Web Design

Web design is just one of the many CTE courses offered in my school,Thomas A. Edison HS. In web design students learn HTML syntax for professional‚ accessible and organized websites using Dreamweaver‚ Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)‚ Java Script and action script. I've discovered the wonders of animation with motion and shape tweening using Adobe Flash, taking the course. Web designers are taught to incorporate movie clip symbols that control sound‚ movement and interactive buttons. Students work independently and in groups to design a variety of websites that include graphics created in Photoshop‚ Illustrator or Fireworks. The course culminates with an online electronic portfolio and two industries recognized Adobe Certified Associate certifications with Certiport.Also work base learning opportunities are available to those that qualify.
