Climate Change

It's happening. Worse than ever.

Rapid Climate Change is Real!

According to Google, the meaning of Climate Change is "a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels."

Due to human activities of recent years after the industrial revoluation, the climate is changing faster than ever. Climate Change itself is normal, but it's not normal when it's changing in a such fast rate. This website will talk about some facts about climate change, the Paris Accrod, things anyone can do to help, and where you can donate. We must do our best to slow down the rate of which the climate is changing!

In the recent years, the temperature is rising unusually faster than before. This is caused by the greenhouse effect of the Earth’s atmosphere in which the greenhouse gases trap some of the heat and energy radiated from the sun. And with human releasing extra greenhouse gases ever since the worldwide Industrial Revolution, the excess amount of these gases are trapped inside of our Earth, resulting the Earth getting warmer in a speed much quicker than before. This is known as the period of Global Warming. Though some might still deny the conspicuous existence of this abnormal change in the world and see it as a lie, or a myth, Global Warming is scientifically proven to be true. And it is mostly due to our human industrial activities that this damage is occurring to our world. In a country where energy usage is one of the highest in the world such as the United States of America where industrial activities are practiced in everywhere, we are one of those that are greatly affected by this rapid climate change, as well as the very first to be affected by it. Yet, many Americans are simply not concerned about this problem. Therefore, it is very important to understand what causes Global Warming and what are the effects of it to learn how to help reduce the rapid change of the temperature, and become a good role model for other countries to follow!
